I bought this car with the aerial missing. I'm trying to change it. It is not a power antenna. I pulled the bottom of the fender out so I could look up. It's attached from the inside of the fender. Looks impossible to get up. Can I get an aerial that will screw on to that stub. I have not been able to find anything that fits. Any help would be appreciated.

I use an aftermarket one that fastens to my windshield behind my mirror when I replaced my windshield with the built in antenna. Works fantastic!
I may have to go that route. I will have to figure out how to plug the hole.

What Timo posted should be correct, depending on which makes/models the plastic grommet is and what your fender is.

The black plastic goes into the hole, seals the elements.

The squared flanges on underside prevent spinning.

The chrome nut on top tightens things down after the threaded shaft screws into the base, itself residing between inner and outer fender, and secured by 2 bolts to the inner fender in engine bay plus one to inner fender in door jamb. Antenna lead feeds out through inner fender hole into engine bay where intermediate lead connects and runs to back of radio.
