are Aftermarket hoods worth the money? I was given a free hood and it looked to be in good shape til I got it to bare metal and found different! what bugged me from the beginning was the bracing underneath, it was bent and dented and i know that shouldn't be a big deal, but hey, I'm very particular when it comes to my ride! but I was gonna try to overlook that and bodywork it and then throw it on, but it seems that's not gonna be the case, the hoods too bad off. anyone know a good place to buy a hood? I've seen some aftermarket ones go for up to $400 with shipping, I wonder how much a NOS hood would go for??? My mechanic is almost done building the motor and I need to find another hood to put on before we drop that baby in!

motor was only a year old! GM crate 350 i broke a rod after water got inside. the cylinder walls were a lil rusty from sitting for a year, but I'm currently getting it built back up, a lil .30 over bore, and a cam, nothing to crazy
