Hello I was wondering if any of you had any thoughts on edelbrocks suspension kit for g bodies? I noticed it in the summit catalog a while ago and was wondering is this worth the money or would I achieve the same or better perfomance piece milling a supension together.

On Pro-Touring.com (and maybe other forums too) there is a guy named Marcus. SCandC.com Go to his website or give him a call. Highly respected on PT.com.

I have the Edelbrock boxed lowers. trailing arm braces, double adjustable uppers, and anti-hop bars.

First, I love them. But I would have gone with the non-adjustable ones if I could go back (these ones have a little to much slop). And also as good as these parts are, I'm sure that the other companies that sell similar parts for way less would be just as good.

So basically, yes they are good, but also overpriced.

thanks for some insight, I have been looking @ Savitske's stuff looks like high caliber stuff I quess the only thing that had caught my eye with packaged deals is the lazy man factor I guess I shouldnt be to over anxious quite yet I imaginejust a set of shocks @ this point would be like driving a new car 😀

Another thing I learned the hard way is that it's A LOT cheaper to get one of the package deals. So if your planning on redoing your whole suspension in the near future. Save up until you have enough for the kit. Probably save about $400 or more that way.
