I drove my Malibu for almost a year before I swapt the engine, and it needed it bad. It would smoke, not turn off, bottom out etc.. Ohh, and it was tri color. 😢 i miss her!!

That rusty hulk is the perfect example of not being ashamed of your g-body!
I bought it in Dec. '05 and between then and Aug '08 when I stopped driving it, I put over 65K miles on it. Year round, everyday. And thats with 6 months of not driving it when the brake line rusted out...
That's about 2500 miles a month on an oil burning, psf leaking, rotted frame hanging, blown out bushings rattle trap!
Best $500 car I ever bought!
So quit lurking and join up everybody, no car is not nice enough!
And yes, that oil slick under the front of the car is all the PSF I leak!

That is exactly the winter car I am looking for (except maybe minus the frame, but I could fix it). If you were in Cleveland I would be trying to buy it from you. Definitely nothing to be embarrassed of.
Yeah, the bumper shock actually broke loose on the driver side, and both rear body mounts are gone...
I got two cheap ratchet straps from the gas station, hooked them behind the rear tire on the soild part of the frame, looped them around the bumper shocks, up through the tailgate and across the trunk floor area and hooked them at the edge of the rear cargo floor...problem solved! Held up for two years now, and they're still on there.
A decent set of snow tires on the back and two 60 lbs. bags of sand and it's the absolute perfect winter beater. Unstoppable. I'm going to miss driving it this winter, I hate my truck!

Sorry to have to shame you, but glad to have you on board. We all lurked for a little while when we first got here, but eventually you have to post pictures and speak-up. If we all lurk then there will be nothing to see.
ok, i am 15 years old to start with. i have been a lurker. but anyways, i bought an 87 cut from a guy a couple hundred miles away that had been wrecked. paid 500 for it and no rust! took it home and put an 85 front end on it and painted it, put a big stereo in it and did it all myself. no its not a junker. i drive it to school everyday, well i would noe but i got an exhibition ticket and lost my liscence but while i havent been driving i bought new rims and gettin new tires saturday. i will post pics after school for u guys.
