I’m taking out my crummy dash. It’s all stripped of components and hardware that I know of. I got the steering column brace freed up. Is the top just glued in? I don’t want to break anything. Should i just keep wiggleing it out?

There’s 4 screws on top by the defrost, a couple at the bottom on the outsides and one in the middle below the radio.

In addition to bolts at both ends of dash, the bracket under the radio/AC control area, and the 4 screws in the defrost duct, there is one hidden bolt toward the rear at the top of the steering wheel support. Many people forget this one.

I got the 3 10 mm. Nuts on the bottom.Success !! The 4 defrost screws were painted over. In the one pic, what is it? It is inside the dash in the area of the headlight switch. Is it just the buzzer? And can I omit it? The second one is obvious as to why I’m swapping. Thanx for the assist
