Hi all.. I picked up a 1980 Malibu 4 dr from a seller in Shelby, NC this past week, and really love the car.

1980 Malibu 4 doors, white on white exterior, beige interior. V6 engine, unknown 3 spd automatic transmission. bone stock car, with manual locks and windows. 63K original miles, and a true one owner car. ( well until I got a hold of it)

bench seat, no tilt column, no delay wipers, no cruise, sweep dash. The true gramma's car. Being originally from cleveland, ohio, it always amazes me when a car has no rust. and I looked over this car from top to bottom, and this car, truly hs NO RUST! unreal! As nice as the body is though, the stock six and transmission combo are tired with 63K miles on the clock, someone has done some transmission work, and done a poor job of it... the car has no power at all and refuses to downshift when you floor it. Top speed with a tail wind is 65. to pass someone requires some planning and manually pulling the transmission down into second.

Plans for the car include a V8 engine, and 4 spd automatic transmission swap, and possibly rally wheels, and a new interior, including round gauges and bucket seats.. ( I have plans for a couple extra radios in what would be the center console.)
