Hey everyone - just got on here, from the East side of Indy - been lurking past few weeks, been doing some research on updgrading and how to's, and to get my Regal running again - looking forward to be more active on here....

Hey Carl it's Adrian - looking forward to getting my heap running so I can bring it down to run around down in southern IN...

welcome!

hey man good to see another guy in the area with a regal. What motor are you running in yours now?

Thanks for the welcomes, guys

datturboz, it's a 350 TBI with a .0030 overbore, carb'd, nothing fancy...it's been sitting for a while, so right now plans are to get it running again...what's in yours?

right now a 305 2 brl. but ive got a choice between a well built 355, 406, or something crazy ive been thinking of a 4.3 turbo like the cyclone and typhoon trucks ran since my buddy has a 4.3 hangin around. just trying to find a place to do the swap since i have a turbo mazda and mustang in my garage already that dont run 🙁

Nice options - personally, I'd be interested to see the 4.3 turbo swap since there aren't many typhoon/cyclone trucks running around to begin with....that'd make for something different. What's the 406 out of? That'd probably make a bad street car if it was built right...the guy I bought my chassis from had a 440 in his, but it was all-out drag setup. Mine's sitting in a gravel lot in a storage facility 2 min from my apt with a tarp waiting for this damn rain to stop (and for me to have some $$)... 🙁 if you need help getting those other ones running, hit me up...

ya the 406 is out of a 73 monte carlo i do believe. what rear end does your car have? Ya if i do get it goin here soon ill let you know itd be awesome to have an indiana meet up

Honestly....I dunno what rear I got in mine, it's been so long...probably a 3.73 or something similar....the guy that had it before me prepped the chassis for a V8 conversion and was driving it with a 305 or 350, so I imagine he had a beefier rear in it than stock, but i'll have to check...on the to do list...we'll def have to have a IN meet up some time
