What's up everyone.

I've been lying low and just joined. I am in the process of restoring my '85 Cutlass Supreme Brougham and will be digging through the site for knowledge. Waiting on UPS as we speak to drop off my parts so my Dad and I can close this 357 up before he starts hunting. I live in Chesterfield, VA and my plan is to have this Cutlass back on the road by spring. Everything works but wanted to do something with the 350 I took out of my '76 Chevy 4 wheel drive when I sold it and thought that the Cutlass was a good fit. I thank you everyone in advance for the knowledge that is here and that I will receive.

My suspension needs help so that is the next area I will be concentrating on in addition to the heart and soul transplant so point me in the right direction .

welcome from newport news. and yes i find it hard myself to focus on the car during hunting season

Yeah my Dad was real clear about that. I already knew that so it isn't a big deal. I got the block line bored, rehoned, crankshaft cut .10/.10, lunatti .437/.454 lift cam, Power pack heads reworked, milodon high volume/pressure pump, 7 qt pan, TH350 with shift kit, all new bolts and all the little things you don't wanna neglect when you are going in from the start. Cloyes true roller/double roll. I'm all set. I wanted to sit it in bolt it up but Pop laughed at me and said you'll be lucky if we get it together so I left it at that. Maybe if I get a couple of good days and he starts to smile when I bring the Summit treats over, he may change his mind.

He gets excited when he sees parts so I have enough of them coming so we'll see.

we will have to get together and cruise once both our rides are on the street. chesterfield in only like 45 min away. your gonna have a blast and your starting off right.

I used to live in Meherrin, VA which isn't TOO far from Lake Gaston so cheers. And I will keep the updates coming.

A bit more info:

I want to redo the interior (no color in mind yet), paint it wineberry, new top or no top (still debating) and I'm looking for some of the factory rims. All new molding, and gauges inside but tastefully done as to blend in and not just mounded under the dash. I'm keeping the A/C so we have to fab up a few brackets.
Always wanted one of these (and a '63 Impala SS 😀 ) and found it in Staunton for $900. Trannie's leaking, and so is the rear main so I figured it has to come out and i have something to replace it so why not?

It is a joy to drive even though my wife doesn't like it. I love it and can't wait to get it back on the road.

Glad to see another fellow Virginian on the forums. Once I get a chance and everyone is up for it, I think it would be cool if we all met up and cruised one day. My Regal looks like a complete beater right now lol, but hey, she gets me from A - B so I can't complain. I have put 4k miles on the car without any real mechanical problems with the exception that the oil pressure relief valve opened up and dumped a little oil one day, but that problem has been solved and fixed. Greetings and I hope you enjoy your time here like I am.
