Another project in the works

I've been surfing ebay for awhile and found a new console door with hinge. Had no idea they were reproducing these. Went ahead and got it from Mikes Montes ebay store. I have never seen a nice used one around here and both cars I'm getting have messed up ones. They are always deformed from the sun. Also got a set of four H4 headlights with bulbs because they are brighter than stock replacement halogens. I HAD a little paypal money. Lol

If you are a small block guy, I do happen to have a set of Dart Pro 1 235 aluminum heads.... 2.08/1.60 valves... go WAY fast.

I did see several reproduction SS stripe kits that were reasonable. Makes me wanna tune up the paint on my Aero Coupe and put stripes back on it.

So plans at this point for the Monte is to use a flat top piston 350 I already have assembled with a hydraulic flat tappet 488 cam, Edelbrock aluminum E Street heads 64cc, RPM air gap intake, rebuilt turbo350 trans with B&M Transpac, B&M 2200 convertor, 125 NOS Powershot, Champion aluminum radiator, Derale dual electric fans with shroud and temp probe, drilled and slotted stock rotors, Taylor braided brake hoses, stock 10 bolt 3.73 with a cover girdle, Moser axles, and factory limited slip unit, UMI rear control arm set, Bell Tech 2" drop Spindles, UMI rear 2" drop coils, 17x7 and 18x8 Coddington Crown Jewels, full tube headers and Flowmasters. This is stuff I already have here. Wanting a high 12 to low 13 second 1/4 with slicks driver. I will be using the AC system. I'll buy a steel cowl hood probably in the next couple months. I already have a set of Weld draglites 15x8 with brand new MT 26x8.5 slicks and lug nuts still in the package. I may swap to a 700R4 later since I have one in my shed that needs rebuilt with a mechanical speedometer tail. The car is white with maroon interior and may just respray stock color with new decals and get the new seat cover set and carpet from Dixie Monte. I was originally thinking of using a 400 small block I have here but going to use it in my 55 Belair

Other than the converter being too tight it should run easy 12s.

Full set of body bushings.

Airbag in the passenger rear coil spring.

A set of those brackets that lower the back of the rear lower control arm to fix the instant center.

And I agree, looser converter or a genuine Foot-Brake converter.

Oh, I meant raw...

I have an almost complete set of the blue stripes, n.o.s. ... I think the only piece it's missing is the pass door SS. I can dig them out and get ya pics if interested...

Its white with red/maroon. Won't put stripes back on. Only the SS Monte Carlo logos. Thanks anyway though.

I have been going crazy all week. Hopefully we can drag them home tomorrow but I'm thinking it's still too wet. I've wiped out my paypal buying stuff for a car that's not even here yet. Lol
