Im in the middle of swaping a chey 350 into my 86 cutlass supreme. I did some searching on the forum trying to find what people have been using for radiators. I have a guy who can make me one but i threw out the stock one, any suggestions on where to get one or the dimensions so i could have one made. thanks

You might try Autozone. I saw one for a V8 cutlass that runs around $125, for A/C and is an HD unit.

i was thinking about just buying a stock one but its going to have to be cut and welded becase i need better cooling the stock probably going with a three or four core, could someone get the measurments off a stock radiator so i could have one made

Y does it need to cool better? A stock Monte rad will cool sufficiently for most applications. What kind of 350 r u running.? 300HP? 400HP? Stock? If its 300HP and a good OE radiator doesn't cool it, then its either plugged up, missing cooling fins, timing is off, or no underhood airflow.

You may be able to run one from a 3rd gen F body with a V8. If you find a later car, it will probably be aluminum with plastic tanks which could give you some weight savings. Otherwise, just run the stock V8 G body radiator for a car with A/C and HD cooling. It's the 3 row radiator. I found a new one in the junkyard for $65 the last time I needed one. I live in Florida and have no problems, never gets above 200 degrees, and most of the time it runs around 180.

the engines going to be making about 500 hp and rev out to about 5700 just want to makes sure it stays cool after paying for the build

500HP out of a 350 at 5700. Did you a buy a bunch of parts and add up the HP that each one could give you? No offence intended but it might be optomistic when measured against the weight and trap speed after she goes through the eyes. I don't think state of the art heads will do that on a 350 at only 5700. It it either needs to be bigger or spun harder to make that number without a power adder. Maybey I'm thinking wrong.

I rebuilt my lowly 2 core rad from a 267cid car and bulit in 2 extra rows. Cost $180 {Canadian}, it's brand new, has warrenty and colls like a mother. There are also tonnes of AL rads on Ebay, but they are pricy!

Use a Modine 951 Alum rad with the stock fan from a HD cooloing car and fan clutch. Also run a pusher fan in front of the radiator.

Are u going to run a stroker kit in this 350? 3.75" stroke or still using the 3.48" stroke? 500HP is easily doable with the stroker crank, good heads, a little compression, cam choice, and of course a heavy right foot. If its 500HP, don't skimp on quality.
