Antenna Switch

This might be a real dumb question, but how easy/hard is it to replace the factory motorized antenna with a fixed antenna?

I think the fender has to come off and apart to get the power ant out. I think the manual ants were removable without removing the fender, if I remember correctly.

Is the mast broken off on the power antenna or is it just stuck all the way up? Swap is relatively easy. Are you trying to save the old power & do you have a manual?

My power antenna is stuck up and bent over, I would like to switch to a shorty manual.
