i thought so too but my other 2 cars a 63 impala ss and a 84 regal have a 307 too but this one looks hella bigger
Might be a big block. What is the big letter on the recess between the water pump and intake, to the right of the oil fill tube?

I am going to say it's 307 Olds since I believe the larger V8 Olds used all 10 valve cover holes

im not gonna keep that engine but it is really loud even the breaks part looks weired to me
That is the Hydro-Boost for the power brakes. Most likely the car started life as a diesel, a Olds engine would of been a easy swap for a gas engine.
Suggest that car may have originally been an Olds 350 diesel - the hydroboost instead of a vacuum booster. Someone likely changed it for an Olds gas motor because the BOP transmission was still good. If the hydroboost still works, keep it - you can use a gnarly cam and not worry about low vacuum giving you soft brakes.
