That is a ported vacuum switch. $15 to $20 new.
IIRC the 2 nipple one ties in with the EFE valve keeping it closed when cold and opens when warm.

Or the 3 nipple one ties in with the EFE, and Y's in with the EGR and Charcoal Canister to pull fumes when the engine is warm

Thanks!

Look it up based on the year/engine of your car, the '60's engines never used them.

I'm assuming the previous owner peiced the engine together.. Might be a housing from a newer engine.. It's pretty hacked up under the hood.. Runs strong so I guess it's a good start...

Intake had a leak so engine is pretty grimey.. I'll see if I can get the number of the block next weekend..

Do I even need it? I capped off the vacuum going to it and runs just fine.

Flux capacitor 🙂

Dont even need a pipe plug if you are not using it and its not leaking 🙂 So no you dont need it if you are not running EGR or and EFE valve
