any one use lok itt?

I used to install those back in the day. They do a good job of protecting the switch area and they do not require any on/off like a removable lock. They can be removed, but it's a bit of a pain; like anything though, it's more of a deterent than anything else. If they want the car, nothing will stop them. Well, maybe a bullet or a pitbull sitting in the car, lol.

thats why i actually like the non-matching color; the bright red. lets people know its locked.

Yes the metal is rolled around under the chrome key tab ,the hole is smaller than the lock cylinder.It would take quite awhile to open it up to pull out the lock cylinder.

I had to remove one to work on a column once (I used to work in a stereo shop, but we also did all kinds of repairs) and it took me about 15-20 minutes and a few drill bits. I was not really trying to do it fast, but I could see a determined thief getting it off in less than 10 or even 5 minutes.
