Well, if you are an insufferable Top Gear fan like I am, you probably have already illegally downloaded and watched the first episode of season 13 from some site that is sure to be shut down by the BBC very soon. If not, go watch it because the finally reveal the identity of The Stig. If you have seen it, were you surprised? Do you actually believe it or is it a trick?

If you want to torrent it, http://www.finalgear.com/ has every single episode available for download. It is the only site that the BBC does not take down as they have some sort of agreement about it. They also have the Australian Top Gear episodes as well as Fifth Gear, the not quite as good BBC 5 show with a similar premise but not similar writing. I am surprised that they do not have Russian Top Gear though...

I tend to think that the person they revealed as the Stig is but one of many who will come forward as The Stig, maybe even one per episode. The ending sort of left a question as to the reality of the reveal. I will not spoil it for those who have not seen it by posting it here, but it is up on Jalopnick and Finalgear right now if you want to look.

BTW, the person revealed to be The Stig on this episode WAS NOT Ben Collins.

I watch Top Gear almost religiously,

They're not always consistant with the truth, and tend to exaggerate, but it's all mindless stupidity with cars. And at the end of the day, that's what matters!
