You have to take Clarkson with a grain of salt. He is an opinionated ******* that has a large soapbox to stand on. The hosts do not always agree with one another either. Honestly though, other than the Turbo G body Regals, when was the last time there was a good Buick? Most of them have mediocre build quality and share chassis with some sort of Chevy. They are nicer inside than the other cars that share their chassis, but that's about the only thing they have going for them. They get higher marks on initial quality because of their market demographic. Most people who buy a new Buick today are in their 60's and have never owned a foreign car, and also do not drive much and tend to take better care of their cars than the average new car owner. Soft and mushy suspensions in their Park Avenues help to coddle their hemorrhoid ridden asses, and they do not like going around corners much. It is basically the Mercury Grand Marquis demographic. The cars are not driven enthusiastically, and as long as they are comfortable to drive to the golf course in they are considered good. New Buicks are nice appliances, but they are in no way fun to drive, sexy or desirable. BTW, I am an opinionated ******* too!

Here is an interesting question: Of the three presenters ( Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May), which one is your favourite and which one are you most like?

Me: James May on both accounts. Except I don't drive slow.

Love Top Gear. My girlfriend even watches it with me. I loved the bit where they went to the US (the first time) and one of the cars they hoped to be able to find and buy was a Cutlass 8)

I'm a big fan of Jeremy Clarkson but I'm much more like Richard Hammond.
