Well, I am already planning for how I'm going to store my Cutlass once winter hits. I took some measurements and I think if I can park my car sideways in the garage against a wall, I will still have room for our other two cars inside the garage.

We have a 2.5 car garage (24x28)

I was just wondering if any of you have used car dollies before. My only concern with them, is trying to push the dolly wheels over the crack lines in my garage floor. The cheap dollies on eBay have like 3.5" wheels. My crack lines were done by hand so they're larger than ones cut into concrete, if you know what I mean

Am I worrying too much, or is there a trick you guys have to rolling stuff over your crack lines?

I'm trying to figure out if this will work before I buy some dollies. My only other thought would be to try and fabricate my own dollies with larger wheels/casters. I have to guess, but I would say my crack lines are probably half an inch or so

What are your thoughts, and what kind(s) of car dollies have you used? Would you recommend them

Thanks

I've always used just used a floor jack. with one person pushing on the car and one pulling on the jack we got across the floor in my old garage just find. It wasn't the cracks but the floor was quite rough from the salt coming off the cars. I would try the dollies and you can always upgrade the casters later. Hope that helps.

I've used those cheap car dollies to move around the race car and they work great....why not top fill the cracks in the area your going to be using the dollie
