forgive me but this is the best i can do hahahaha..just use your imagination..im almost ashamed to even post this.lol...
but seriously if you ask me....id go for it.. I think that two tone shine would look pretty slick ontop of that flat black ...

lol^^^...at least you tried. I know from experience that trying to paint on a car in PS is difficult.

That gives me the idea of a two tone paint scheme like a 442 with satin black on the top and gloss on the bottom.

lol its not that bad..gives me an idea on how it will look..if you focus on a body panel the stripe blends in more

yeah I tried doing something with a program called GIMP..pissed me off and gave up lol

Did a real quick rendering below. Wasn't the best image to use due to the amount of sky reflection but was the best I could find showing a decent shot of the hood.

what i would do it select the body (with the pen tool) and tweak the adjustments. If you car isn't black.
then use the blur tool with a small soft brush and get a flat look. then select your stripe down the middle and there are a million ways to get a glossy look.

I'm not bad with photoshop, i just don't have it on my old *ss computer.

found this picture
all i did was google flat black monte carlo
