Wondering if anyone knows what this connector is for

Is that a CLUTCH pedal I see?!? WOWSERS! That column can be from an early car that had the wiper control on the dash. Also, the 1983 system should be negative ground. That means the wiper switch is the ground for all the functions. The wiper motor itself is 'hot'. The black ground wire is critical. Just know that parts are HARD to find for this system.

Ya it's a clutch pedal it's original but car has been swapped to a 350 with a 700r4 and the interior is stripped I'm trying to get it put back together for a decent weekend rig
