I bought a hurst lightning rod shifter a few weeks ago but it's missing the knobs and buttons. I can get the knobs off ebay and thought I could get the buttons from here http://store.oldsgmail.com/store8.htm, but have contacted the guy multiple times with no response. So does anyone know of a place that makes or sells these buttons?

No one makes them with exception to one guy on ePay every now and then but be prepared to pay...
You can keep an eye out for a parts shifter but thats about it.

Check the camaro shifters, they were similar styled.

I have one In my tool box I'll have to dig it out.

This is something I've been thinking about doing.I've got a set of lighting rods that need some parts also.

I work in a machine shop and have worked out a plan to make some shifter knobs out of alum. and polish them up.

If your not worried about the chrome finish matching exactly, the buttons could be made from stainless steel.
So once they were polished up they would never tarnish.

88Hurstolds...What do the shifter knobs usually sell for on epay? And are they made of plastic?
