Anyone running the hotchkis coils? i got mine installed and finally got the car back on the ground and dang this thing is friggin low. The top of the back bumper is just below my knee cap. Tires on it right now are 215/65/15. I want to run 275/60/15 and it looks like its gonna be tight. lets see pics of your car with hotchkis coils and what size tires u guys running?

also i hope the front drops enough. they specified small blocks or big blocks with aluminum heads and i happen to be running a small block with aluminum heads. if it doesnt what are my options?

also just as a refresher were the open part of the coil supposed to face forward or backwards on the spring perch?

wow that does look too low... I am planning on using the Hotchkis coils as well and my buddy ran them on his SS and it didn't look that low..

Its really bothering me. Ive got so much money in the setup and for something to be off kills me. its been a couple years since i bought the springs so im sure they wont do anything if something is wrong. going to call them this afternoon

could the back just appear to be alot lower since there is no motor or trans in the front? it just doesnt seem to make sense for some reason. is there someway if the spring was flipped the wrong way could cause it to sit lower? im just trying to come to some conclusion as to why it could possibly sit that low.

Not to everyone tires in picture are 215/65/15

I had them on my 84 H/O and took them off and put the original springs back on the stance of the car looked great but I installed the biggest tires on the rims and I couldn't put my hand between the front fender and the tire made me nervous so I took them off.

How low was the back of your car? I'll Prolly keep the 215/65/15 up front and go Bigger out back

I called hotchkis. They said all my part #'s are correct. He also said when I get the engine in it will actually pull some weight off the rear and it won't be quite so low.

Is Hotchkis better than Eibach? I was thinking of running the Eibachs just bc there a lil cheaper...
and id measure the difference of the springs freely that should give you a good estimate of how much the difference of the stock springs towards the lowering springs stock ones should be about 14inches.
