I was just wondering if anyone had some first hand experience, or heard of anything about them. Spoke to Bob Weir last week and he seemed like an honest and reasonable guy. just want an unbiased review before I pull the trigger. Also, what did you use as a clutch master? Can I use a stock f body unit?

I'm looking for a T56 to install over the winter. I never heard of that kit but there's alot of info online. I like the fact you can use the stock flywheel and clutch assembly but the bell housing and hydraulic thro out bearing is $540, I have the centerforce clutch assembly now which I would like to keep but the cover I have is not the hydraulic thro out bearing style.

I had their kit years ago and actually am using their hydraulic t/o bearing right now. However I sold the bell housing and bought a McLeod blow proof bellhousing for piece of mind. Last you want is a flywheel exploding and cutting off your feet. 🙁

Yes, you can use an LS1 F body master cylinder. It is what the John Bzdel clutch pedal was designed around. You just removed the stock braided line that comes with the LS1 master, buy an -AN adapter from Earls and the run a new braided line down to the hydraulic t/o bearing.

Ok, thats what I was hoping to hear. So did the throwout work with no mods other than the line with that master? And what did you need to do to make it work with the mcleod housing?

I had to have a spacer made to go between the t/o bearing and the transmission to get the proper engagement on the clutch. It was something around 7/16" or so but you would have to check your setup to see what it would need.
