The first time I saw a dunk car I thought out loud that is the stupidest thing I have ever seen. Why would you take a great car and put wheels on it that are too big to stop, steer, horrid suspension and just plain look dumb. Now after seeing them for a few more years they are starting to grow on me. I wouldnt want one myself but I can appreciate the time, effort, personal statement they are making. Funny how most the car guys I know hate them and talk about how they are cobbled up hood junk. What I find even more funny is the dunk guys are willing to spend more money on just a set of wheels and tires than most self procaimed car guys ever thought of. Im not sure if its that I work in the Gehtto of Rockford IL which was rated the 9th most dangerous city in the US and I see these cars all the time or if its just that I appreciate seeing a car that has been built outside the norm of car likes but I must say my hats off to you guys that are into those styles of rides. I personally would not like to build one myself bc its not my personality but I enjoy the show

Qdub, names have a tendency of changing their meaning over time. You might not like it but you can't do anything about it. But then again I think you jumped to a conclusion, the op never mention what type of cars he was talking about..

but to answer the question...no

This is GBodyForum.com, and Donks aren't G-bodies.

people associate big with the word donk. it turned into a general term for a car on big wheels. not saying that its correct to say but its above me.

All those pics that QDub posted are of different body styles of Chevy Caprice/Impalas. Not Gbodys. The technical definition of a Donk is an old Chevy Caprice/Impala from the 70's. The wheels have nothing to do with the name donk.
