Autometer Guage install help 12 volt switched source

Ok I have no clue what I'm looking for what is a good source for 12 volt switched. Also how do I do it do I splice the line or go to fuse box, cause I'm thinking I have 3 gauges oil water and volts I plan to spice each one into the cigarette lighter wire is this correct?

Go to a 12v switched source on the fuse box, that way you can easily unhook it if need be, and you don't have to cut into your harness.

I have several things running to a source on my fuse panel, so you should be in good shape.
