Whats the avg cost youve guys paid to have your 2004r rebuilt? I got a gasket leaking in the front of it and i guess theyd have to take the whole thing out to replace it so might as well rebuild it while there at it huh?

It will depend on the shop doing the work. I would expect $400 to be about the bottom of the market to have new clutches, bands and seals put in. That's if you pull it yourself and bring it in. The top of the market would be somewhere like Aamco, where it could run north of $2,000. Ask around and see who your car-guy friends use and how happy they were.
