DO NOT SELL THIS GUY ANYTHING, HE JUST SCAMMED ME OUT OF $292 FOR A REAR SPOILER.

HE SENT THE MONEY THROUGH PAYPAL AND THEN HAD HIS BANK REVERSE THE TRANSACTION AFTER I PROVIDED THE TRACKING NUMBER.
MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT IS NOW NEGATIVE $292 AND PAYPAL IS NOT PROVIDING SELLER PROTECTION.
I HAVE TO FILE A POLICE REPORT WITH THE LA COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE.

HIS NAME IS STEVIE HAWKINS BUT GOES BY THE NAME
FANCY LOVE
815 E. 82ND ST
LOS ANGELES, CA 9001
310-948-1707

OK, this one sounds pretty cut and dried. Sooooo......

I know my policy is to leave the door open for communications and resolution, but I think this one is clear enough that it warrants an outright ban. If for some unknown reason it does get resolved, someone let me know and I will un-ban stevie aka "fancy love"....:wtf:

Guy contacted me via Craigslist and then I pointed him here because he needed parts for his '83 Hurst Olds because it was stolen and parted out, now he's scamming me. :wtf:
I should have know something was up when he gave his "girls" paypal information as Fancy Love but I didn't have an issue because it was through PayPal.
The moment I gave the tracking information to him he reversed the funds, I was unaware until when I checked my PP account this afternoon.
PayPal said I was not eligible for Seller Protection because he reported the transaction unauthorized by his bank which is eye-opening.
So now PayPal is no longer a safe avenue for sellers, never was really because someone could always send you a box of rocks back...

I just got off the phone with FedEx 10 mins ago and they are stopping the shipment, luckily because I shipped it out on Saturday it didn't leave the FedEx Kinkos until last night and is sitting in the hub nearby.

I dodged a bullet.

That's twice this week I got scammed...
Beware of this guy too, he's been lurking on Olds and other auto forums since 2001

Mike, that sucks you are finding all these a-holes trying to rip people off! Good thing you got the shipment stopped. Todays day and age you cant trust many people anymore which is a shame for us honest folks... Good luck getting your stuff figured out

glad the shipment was stopped and I'm lucky never to have had problems with anyone I have dealt with. Heck I even had one of the members send back the extra cash I sent as a token for him helping me out buying my xm cards when I had a US account...

and you are a good friend.. 🙂

L.A.X-RATED...I never paint everyone with the same brush because of a few bad apples. There are many more great people than bad so the bad get weeded out pretty quickly...

Just an FYI. This guy apparently can't take the hint that he's banned. I was going to re-instate him if the situation resolved itself, but as he keeps trying to create new accounts and get in, over and over and OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER.... there's no way in a cold dark hell now.

So, if you notice somebody frantically looking for '83 Hurst grilles.... please let me know.

I do a lot of Ebay shipments and have sold a few things on here, one thing I always try to do is use USPS online postage and at home pick up. On Ebay it immediately issuers a tracking number to the buyer but it is not scheduled to be picked up from my house for a few more days. This gives you a day or two to watch your Pay Pal to see if anything comes about of the transaction. Then you do not have try and reverse the shipment if they retract the money on you. ALWAYS have your Pay Pal linked to a checking account you do not use for anything else, Pay Pal likes to claim the are fraud proof but they are full of sh*t. Guys like this one are all over and they are getting smarter everyday
