On my 84 hurst olds i have my 10" 8.5 rear end and i was wondering if someone knew the size of the stock wheel studs and any tips or ideas on if i should stick with the stock size and jus get longer ones for my slicks or just get bigger studs overall? thanks

Tim

You should have 12mmX1.50 wheel studs. I would get a set of longer premium quality wheel studs (ARP for example) and use open ended lug nuts that allow the tech people at the track to see how far the threads are engaged.

It has been a while but I think they were .486".
