B body hydroboost on 86 cutlass?

I know you can use a b body master cylinder on a g body(I had one on a 79 Malibu) but will a hydroboost setup from an 85 caprice fit my 86 cutlass?

I would guess it is the same setup as the 84-85 turbo regal. If so, you will have to adjust where the pedal is attached.

There is a pin on the pedal where the rod attaches. It is in a different place on the powermaster/hydroboost than it is on the vacuum setup. If Photobucket would cooperate I'd put up a pic. I'll try later.

I know the astrovans fit the G-Body's and they have the 1 shot safety feature.

The part numbers for a 84-85 T-Type and 85 Caprice are different but the aftermarket newer hydroboost style are the same.

So I would say it would fit with some persuading.

I do have hammers..... Lol. Anyway i had planned on grabbing the engine and trans from the car(2004r and was supposedly swapped to a 350) and if I was able to use the hydroboost it would save scrounging along with allow for a hairier cam

Take everything if you do the hydroboost even the power steering pump.
