i was wondering if anyone has used the b&m holeshot torque converters? i need a converter for my 2004r..i know i can get a converter custom made but i dont know too much about the specs of the mill im dropping in, going to drop the pan tommorow and see if its a 383 like it was advertised but at the least its a strong 350, the previous owner passed away so no way to know other than tearing it down and not going to do that other than inspecting the bottom end..i just want it in my car..lol
anyone use a b&m converter?

I ran a B&m in my car 383 stroker with TH350 for a yr or so until a buddy gave me his ATI to try after. Car went from going 12.10 in the 1/4 to 11.60's just from a converter change. Are they good yes is a custom built one going to work better. But even with that said the ati wasnt matched to my combo maybe luck of the draw. In my GN i am running a ArtCarr converter in front on my 200r4 that works great also.

wow half a second is pretty good improvment..i think ati are available locally, i will do a bit more research. for now it will be something generic but eventually i will tear the motor down and rebuild and match a converter too it but that might not happen for awhile as the motor has very few miles after it was rebuilt and machined by the previous owner
thanx
