Well funny story, my uncle bought the car about 10 years ago for $500. Guy he bought it from said he left from a red light heard a nasty sound, car picked up a miss and started smoking from bank 2. Now at the time I had an 85 trans am which I just happened to have literally just blown the the 350 in it. So my uncle said he wanted a 350 for his grand prix. Ok cool. So he gives me the 305 for my car says it has a miss and that I would have to figure that out. Ok cool. So as were pulli g it out we notice the distributor cap is cracked and the rotor was shot in the @$$. So that's where we figured the miss was. Put the engine in the TA was changing valve stem seals. And as I went through each cylinder the smoke was clearing up. Get to #8 spark plug has never been fired. Went through a whole mess of thing in the end tore the head off and there a perfect whole the size of a quarter blown in the piston..... Now uncle buys jasper 350 (used) puts new edlebrock carb and intake and everything you see in the picture. Grabs a th350 of of some year corvette not too sure about that. Gets the cross member for the true duals then runs out of money. Never hooked the exhaust up but its all there. Sat for the better part of the last 10 years under a pavilion.(hence the reason I said barn find) now my family has grown so 2 seater fast cars don't work anymore had to move to a fast car with a decent back seat lol. Asked him if he's sell it. Told me 1500 now its in my garage and getting worked on. Our mini van is about to blow up lol so I really need to get this car running hahahaha
Definitely not a brougham, the brougham had a very distinct type of interior and i'm almost sure they came with a vinyl top. From the looks of the pic, maybe an LE.so can anyone tell me what sub model this is? I do have the power windows and locks, bucket seats and center console. like would I have stumbled upon a "brougham"?
