The Int 442 is ours!!! Although I did not win it for what I wanted to pay,,,my friend Joe Spagnolli as he promised said he'd make sure he buy it if I couldn't,,,he paid $26,000 for it. double what I was willing to pay.It will be shipped back here to Illinois next week. Looking forward to seeing it, and I will be seeing a lot of it, cause it will be stay in my garage! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

Joe has a 6 car garage here in Illinois with 2 lifts and his garage is full with 8 cars .It will stay in my 4 car garage ( only 3 in there now ) for winter and go to his other huse in summer. The funny thing is he really thinks the car is kinda hokey as he puts, but I kept on him and said he had to buy it if it was out of my price range, kept telling him, last 442, northstar, 1 off, etc, and I finally pushed him over the edge and he trusted me and bought it, it will look nice next to his REAL 74 and 77 Oldsmobile pace cars, and his twin engine toronado.

Darth Vader I

I saw last night that the Darth Vader Olds didn't get auctioned off does anyone know if GM got it from the museum or did the museum get to keep it as they should.

I guess it turns out that the museum actually owns the car, not G.M. G.M. wanted too auction it off, but they can't because they don't own it. :lol:

The Original FE3-X Darth Vader car will not be going to auction for now. Debroah from the RE Olds Museum is working with the current head of the Heritage Center. They were gifted the car back in 2006. She stillhasn't been able to find the paper work but GM is taking her work for now for it. She is going to keep in touch with me IF the car ends up being auctioned so I can bid on it. There is still a few more auctions coming up , and it possiably could hit the block.
