I have a 81' cutlass with 84' brougham doors and Pontiac 301 with th350, my question is what would I need to put a BBC in cause got one for free, I've heard i had to take the ac an heater box but I want to retain my heater.

Thank you lol,BOP parts are scarce here in Oklahoma, an we have no inspections so i can run whatever i want but since i got this block that i was gonna put in my GMC 4wd, well got rid of the truck an this car is my daily driver so that's y i still wanted my heater. I could careless for a/c, i got 2windows for that, so is there anything else i need other then a 3 or 4 core radiator, will a th350 hold up to a 454 and it was an original 3.8l car. And im jus running a set of 15's on it. Nothing special

A th350 will hold up. To let you know bop th350 has a different bolt pattern than a Chevy one. So if you have an original bop th350 you will need an adapter plate to mount it to a Chevy engine

I know lol im the only one that had a BOP transmission for miles lol and ill pick up another transmission an pull everything out and rebuild it for a back up motor an trans

I pretty much wanna do what u did 454cutlass, but mine flat black with the chrome moldings an these Hurst wheels from tirerack.com,

Thanks. As it sits in the pic it has 3 year old red primer. Finally getting all redone and going to be a blue/ black metallic. As it sits now

Where did u get your hood at, the wheels I want are Hurst dazzlers. And just a stock 454. I would keep it BOP if I didn't have to wait 2 days to get parts for the motor that's in it an its my Frankenstein car lol the cluster is a '70 Pontiac something that my uncle wired in circuit by circuit, cuz it had a factory tach.ill post pics soon as I can.

Use SBC frame mounts available at most parts stores for install. Stock v8 three core will work for you just fine, some guys use the aluminum F-body (Camaro/Firebird) radiators as well. I woul advise an iceman or Jeg's dual exhaust transmission crossmember to make for less headaches later on.

There is some BOP stuff you just have to dig, or ask around....
