No remote is needed with logs,Ram Air manifolds and 3 tubes.

Never tried the now defunct IA headers so can't answer there.

Mine are custom with seperate tubes and slip on collectors, number 7 & 8 tubes go outside the rails so you can fit a football in there!

Sorry but no.

Chevy has big block,as does Ford, as does etc etc.

There is no Pontiac big block, period.

Guess we will have to agree to disagee.

It's a Pontiac block, no small or large needed.

326 threw 455 are all more or less varients of the same block.

Some people argue that the 301 is "our" small block, also not true.

The lowly 301 is a low deck version of the standard Pontiac block.

Heads from a 64 326 will bolt onto a 81 301, not that you would want to  .

Can't wait to see you pics!

"So whats a pontiac 462,750hp?Smallblock?"

Nope , just a Pontiac.

Next time you she Jim, ask him if he prefers high winding smallblock Pontiacs or low rpm "bigblock" Pontiacs?

It may take a few minutes for him to stop laughing before you get your answer!

Any progress on your build?

I got my motor in, made a custom frame extension for the "iceman" crossmember, installed aluminum rad support with daul fan set-up, spray bombing the glass cowl hood today.

Getting closer.

Shotgun, fire her up yet,not tring to but heads with u..like to work with you...just got my nose back on after redoing the front end...jealous of the e-heads,but my 48s work for me now...

I just disagree with you on that point, nothing personnal at all.

I will help you with anything you need.

Some idiot (me) ordered the wrong fuell fittings so no fire yet.

It is killing me, it is just sitting there taunting me!

Olds big block is just a raised deck small block wih big mains. The Olds big blocks were square or under while the Olds small blocks were all over square. I like original motors in these cars, GM great non SBC motors. For a 500+ engine the lightweight, strong square Cad would be my choice. For 450 and under the SBO. The diesel nascar SBO is a 2000 hp capable racing block.
