Bench Grinder

It's only like 1,600 bucks for a Baldor, or as we say 1600 reasons why I ain't got one.
While I personally haven't had or used any brand new bench grinders made in the last few years, I'd probably consider the Dewalt 8" model as a good combination of decent & affordable just from experience in other recent tools.
Haven't seen anything electric powered from Horrible Freight that I'd want for my standards. The difference in power of their bench belt sanders & a homestore Delta (imported also) is tremendous.
I agree, wouldn't buy anything used not in person.
I mentioned the shaft adapters & belt remote shaft setups just because many of us can run upon other sorts of really good motors sometimes for free.
Not sure what they'd have , but certain imported companies like grizzley can have the better made lower priced stuff.

I was looking at the DeWalt myself but some of the reviews on Amazon are iffy

And its not like there is a real tool store around here that sells or has one in stock

I didn't see any bench grinders Made In USA, but at least they don't make you dig too far to find out.
Plenty of Wilton vises.
Their search works well too.
