bench to buckets

just got my seats back from upholstery shop, and here's a shot of the ride.

can you show me the bracket you made...if you had to make one

i did the same thing DIRTYWHITEBOY did i removed the tracks from a gbody 60/40 seat and put them on the firebird seats

i have a bench with a floorshift in my cutty, check out my album for pics.....I like the combo but here lately i've been thinking about switching to buckets, still not quite sure yet

I switched the stock split bench to these buckets:

Funny thing is I founnd these seats on my local Craigslist and they match my interior. Turns out a guy pulled them from a rod he had. I got the both for $30.00 🙂

If you can find a bench seat out of a Citation,it has the cut out curve in the middle just like the G-body standard shifts had.Mine had the bench standard shift option,and I switched it to a 40/60 seat and stupid me threw out the old seat.
But a Citation is almost identical.I know,it's almost as hard to find a Citation as a G-body in a junkyard anymore.
The Elcamino store sells the floor brackets for the bucket conversion also.

i have driven elkys that have the buckets and to me i find the bench seat to be more comfotable. Either way its nice to see how easy the swap is. Good luck fellas

same here,besides you cant utilize the full recline feature on the buckets in the elco neither,that and i h8 good posture!lol.
