So, I was about to setthe crank in with my new bearings for my SBB 350, but I discovered one of the original main bolts has a bit of wobble to it.it went in fine, torqued to spec just fine, could I run it? It's a rebuilt engine, mild cam, bored 30 over. Will most likely never see over 4500rpm. Engine ran fine before cit was mine, never opened, was a high mileage motor.

The way I see it is there's only one time to change those bolts and that's right now while its out and able to be worked on. You may be fine but why risk it? Now is the perfect opportunity to go with some new ARP's or comparable brand to put your mind to ease for the long haul.

Could someone link me to a place that sells the actual BOLTS and not studs? I feel like I've looked everywhere.

Or are there another make of engine who's bolts just so happen to fit?

I wound up using the stock bolts. I guess manufacturing wasn't all that great back then. The bolts weren't bent, but 4 out of the 10 main bolts had heads that were a tiny bit off center and made them look bent when they were going in. All is well 2000 miles later.
