245/60R14 is the largest that will fit on a 14"x6" rim. And really it's technically too wide for the rim as is.

I'm going more for height that width, I'm pretty sure that size is shorter than or damn close to the stock 195/75s. I've currently got 215/75s, wondering how much bigger I can go

there isn't anything availible thats taller. that i have found anyway. i still sport my stock 14'' with wire wheel caps on the same size.

Actually, Coker sells a 235/75-14, which is 27.87" tall (and $228 a tire!) . The 215/75-14s are just over 27" tall. BF Goodrich shows that the 245/60-14 is 25.6" tall. BFG also sells a 235/70-14 that is about 26.5" tall. If you want anything taller, it's time for new wheels.

Not trying to hijack the thread...but whats the widest you can run in the front without rubbing when you turn the wheel to full lockout? I was thinking of 225/70/14...(I didn't wanna try to push it with going to wide for a 6'' wheel.)

I run those 14" x 6" rims also and I would like to run a wider tire. I had a 245/50R16 on my 16" Firebird Formula rims. I would think that 245's would be a little wide for a 14" rim? What would be the widest tire for a 6" wide rim?

Ritter, as far as I can tell when Im looking a 225 is really as wide as you should go...cuz a 235 is recommended for a 6.5"-8" wide wheel.
