Black Hood Scoop & Spoiler

Well I was looking to get some opinions on which way to go with the paint on my '84 Hurst. When I bought my car, it came with the black hood scoop & wing. Was this an uncommon thing? I am just asking because the majority of these cars I see have the silver scoop & wing.

I am really debating on what color to have these painted. What do you think looks better? And is the black scoop & wing supposed to be the same color as the lower portion of the car? Thanks.

Well based on that article, I may need to keep them black. I don't want to mess up history. And I kind of like being different. 8)
