I'm getting ready to install the Blazer Dual Piston Caliper up-grade to my 80 Olds Cutlass. I'd like to hear from any other members that have might already have done this conversion. I'm looking for a diagram showing the loaded caliper showing the location of the anti rattle springs and spring clips for the pads etc. I've looked all over the net and cannot find a single parts breakdown. The DIY diagram on the autozone site only shows the S-10 set-up not the 98' up Blazer DP caliper set-up with the divorced hubs.
Also, I'm wondering if I will have to up-grade to a bigger bore master cylinder
due to the increased volumn of the DP calipers and I plan to put discs on the rear when I instal the GN 8.5" POSI Rear. I've already got the new Disc/disc prop valve and an adjustable valve to install if needed. I've been researching this project for some time now and it seems that for some there were no problems and other had the whole thing turn into a giant nightmare. I have up-graded to 15" Outlaw II's but have read where I might need 16' wheels to clear.
Also, I am still un-able to locate replacement rotors for the OEM units that came with these 2003 Blazer Extreme 2wd spindle/caliper/rotor pkg. I had the OEM units turned but the won't be able to be turned again. All listings I've found for replacements are for smaller thinner rotors. The OEM units are marked E-5 Canada GM 15733700 Min THK of 27.5mm and are @ 1.125" thick and 10.75" diameter. Even my Local Chevy Dealer has been un-able to match them up. I know that the heavier thicker rotors were part of the front brake up-grade but all the other parts houses like Autozone etc call out 1" wide rotors. Any advice or diagrams etc would be greatly appreciated before i jump into the project.

Anybody? I remenber that there was a member her that had done this conversion, but cannot locate

not too sure on the rotors but I had a 98 s10 blazer with the brake upgrade. the little springs clip to the back of the pads and if I remember right there is one clip for each piston and I had bopught some drilled and slotted rotors for my blazer off of ebay but it was a few years ago
