wanted to check if my seal was gone on my blower box and It got the better of me, poured water on the top to “imitate” rain and saw that it leaked all at the top through the vents and everything, so I pulled the fender off and my goal is to scrape everything off and replace the seal👍

I used butyl rubber rope seal between the top/bottom half and to seal the tubes. The rubber piece on the firewall received some windshield sealant and I used closed cell foam around the heater hose exit. The butyl rubber was purchased at Ace Hardware and the foam was from the trash.

Mikesmontes and gbodyparts sells the same kit. I used it when i did mine and it was alright at best. I ended up having to pickup some foam from the trash as well

Make sure to check the drains on the bottom of the case. The drain flap (or door) can get debris packed in behind it. If it clogs completely, the water level can get high enough to leak on to the floor inside.

The round hole is a drain for the Evap. The rubber door is the main case drain. As you can see by my pic, mine was almost packed closed.
