I'm looking on Rock Auto for a blower motor for my 86 with AC & 307 and see many options. Which one is a good option? Is it possible to re-use the existing blower wheel or is that generally fused to the shaft after 30 years?

I re-used my wheel when I changed the motor. Mine was attached with a nut on a threaded shaft. Others I have seen ( different years) had the wheel press fit on a different shaft ( not interchangeable), so before ordering pull your current motor and look at the wheel mounting. I used the VDO replacement. They are cheap, and being new gave me a little more output than the original that was in my Elky.

Thank you for the tips Sir! I will pull the blower motor next time it gets warm and then make my order!
