Most likey at least the passenger side number 2 mount on your frame will be rusted out and need a frame repair washer welded in. Every writeup of G body mount repairs they always have to repair the passenger side number 2 mount. The HVAC housing drains rain water right onto that mount which is a depression on the frame, so rain water and snow melt pools there rusting the frame out.

Here is my fix, it's the right side channel in the trunk. I made the patch and used two of the left over washers and just welded metric nuts to them

My rear cage nuts are gone so do you think fixing it from the top down will save more time and frustration than fixing from the bottom up... I don't want to try to fix my rusted mounts from the bottom and get pissed off and have to end up fixing it from the top!!!

Fixing anything from the top down is easier, unless you have the body off and on a roto so yu can do it like that welding and fitting the patches while on your back is a pain in the *ss. When I did the patches in the pictures my body was sitting in 6x6's on top of the frame so I had enough room to clean, epoxy prime, seam seal and paint the bottom side of the patchwork. I also painted the entire frame with gloss black paint while it was exposed. Just get cheap metric nuts, weld them to the left over washers you have and after the body is set back down tack them in place and weld your trunk floor pieces back in
