body bushings

hi,

i got body bushings kit to replace some of those damaged body bushes ... i wanna know how to replace those bushes before front wheels ... somewhere backside of fenders

it's hard to tell by the picture but the hole for the bushings looks bigger then it should be. I believe the holes are supposed to be 1", on my frame the holes were rusted out so I made washers out 14 gauge metal and welded them in place. Here's a diagram that shows you how the bushings and hardware are installed, just click on it and it will expand

tnx buddy , but i want to know how to have access to upper side of those bushings ? when i turn the bolt from lower side of bushing in position 2 ... it seems the bolt is broken and spins n spin only

it sounds like the plate the bolt screws into has come free. You are going to have to cut the body above the location to get to the plate. I had to rebuilt the enclosure for the plates and used the same plates when I did mine. Some use washers and nuts instead.
