I am working on a 86 monte carlo. I have the body off the frame and have some rot in the mounting locations near the rear wells. Does anyone make repair or replacement mounts for these? I would need both sides in the hump area and the driver side second to last location.

I will use those on my frame as well. But my real problem is on the underside of the body. The location where the bolts tie the body to the frame.

I rebuilt all my body mount locations and reused the stock caged nuts but I wish I knew about Conrad before I did it. He's only about 45 minutes down the road from me, I had the pleasure of meeting him and he's super nice guy with well made replacement parts.

I also have a 1986 monte ss, and had the same issue.. I had also went to conrad and got the body mount locations and also rear frame rails from him. but he only makes the rear 4 body mount locations so I had to manufacture all the other body mount locations. WHAT A PAIN! it is not fun welding these patches in well lying on the ground and having hot sparks fall on you lol

The passenger side is especially a pita because of the spare tire well.

yes the spare tire well adds a bit of a challenge! but in my opinion they all were a pain!

I actually fixed the chassis mounts on frame with 3mm sheet metal. Butt-welded them and measured and checked many times before I drilled the holes.
Its actually not that hard if you just take the time to do it right. The mounts under body is also fixed without ordering manufactured parts. I used 0,9mm sheet metal for the mount-housing and cage-nut.
I just measured real good before I made the body mount to make it level. Gonna post some pics of what I've did after I have finished the rear frame structure.
But I think its important to buy the OEM mounting bolts. I have sent an email to gbodyparts asking for a alternative shipment to Norway. The international shipping is quite expensive from there.
