Bolt on hood scoop question

I took a Goodmark steel cowl hoodscoop and cut it up to resemble a 67 Vette Stinger scoop. Bonded and welded it on. Plenty big enough. I too am bored by cowl hoods any more.

Here is what I have to work with. I still have the Mr gasket scoop and riser to use if I had to but the car is not being drag raced any more and I've reinstalled a heater and fenderwells etc to make a regular driver. My other half lost her job so my car budget dropped drastically or I would order a vfn hood. I'm only running a standard 14" drop base air cleaner now.

I don't think it would fit right but I'm looking for ideas besides anything cowl related. Im still a ways away from needing it but trying stay a couple steps ahead on planning.
