Bolt Size ?

I lost the bolt for the tab that holds the dick stick tube in place, it fell and the car ate it cause i cannot find it anywhere and I could not find a bolt in my bolt can that fits. I don't know if it is metric cause I used an 8 mm socket to remove it but that is the same as 5/16" socket. I was going to go to the parts store and pick up a few bolts to make sure I get one that fits but I am trying to stop buying stuff I never use... 🙂

Steve, did you have it bolted to the exhaust flange on the head? If you used a 8mm socket then it could either be M6 or 1/4", unless it's an ARP bolt which typically uses the same sized thread as the head socket size.

It's bolted to the head, I think you're right with M6, I never bothered to educate myself about the metric system.....Thanks....🙂
