BOP TH350

Aside from the bolt patern of the BOP trans, are the "guts" if you will the same? If I buy a "Shift kit" for a TH350 will it be OK for my Olds TH350?

Yes, the internals are the same.

just dont get confused with the Th375 there were 2 versions... one was a Th400 with th350 guts..the other was the Th350 with 400 guts...it was made by Pontiac.... the 350 with the 400 guts was brutally strong!

so how could we find this out i have one i bought it has the notch on the corner of the oil pan and the top of the bell housing is flat across.......

Nice find, that's a dual bolt-pattern TH-350.
It will fit either the Chevy or BOP motors.

thanks............. ok so give some suggestions... sould i keep this and get my drive shaft shorten and balanced..... or give it up for hopefully a core and get a rebuild one with a short tail..which way do you think would be the less cost $$$$$ way to do this...... behind a sbc 350 in a 83 oldsmobile cutlass supreme......with a quick silver floor shifter
