That’s another thought I had. If I use an adapter plate, I’ll also have to add the same amount of space between the torque converter and the flex plate and it will also move the transmission rearward that same amount in turn moving the crossmember back that same amount as well, correct?
(Of course, all that is doable)
The transmission movement is minimal on the crossmember. Yes to the washers on the torque converter, just don't shim out all the space to force it tight against the pump. The TCI adapter isn't the trans adapter unit. It looks like the cheap gold one I used with nuts welded on. Reviews say not flat and some grinding me be needed.
