I need help!!! I have a late 70's 010 chevy small block with stock heads, not the 202 fuelies. My driver side head has 3 accessory holes, the passenger side has only one hole. I bought a full monte carlo pulley and bracket setup. In my photo album I have a picture of the setup. It is going into my 84 cutlass. Absolutely nothing fits right. My intake interferes with the alernator bracket and the little horseshoe shaped bracket that the A/C bracket bolts to...I was gonna just leave the A/C not setup till after I get it all up and running, but it seems the setup will not work without it. I have an 8150 weiand stealth high-rise intake manifold. It says to utilize late model brackets...refers to 80-86 setups. I am going to get the stupid march performance bracket to eliminate the alternator bracket problem, but I'm at my wits end with driver side setup. PLEASE HELP

What compressor are you using, R-4 (radial) or the earlier "Frigidaire" axial? Also, the passenger's side head would be the one that should cause issues I would think, as all 1970 and later passenger car heads have the three holes (trucks used the old brackets until the 1973 redesign). The compressor should not be necessary either, at least it isn't with my 1985 setup (with R-4 compressor, not yet installed). It runs on it's own belt, and loops the water pump, PS pump and crank pulley. However, the PS pump uses it's own belt and does not loop the water pump, while the alternator loops the crank pulley and water pump. The crank pulley should have 3 belt positions: rear is PS, middle is A/C P/S W/P, and the last to go on is the Alt-W/P. The water pump pulley on my car has 3 positions: A/C, Alternator and smog pump. The smog pump drives off the water pump and does not drive directly off the crank.
