Does anyone know where I can a braided power steering line kit for my Monte Carlo. I have a 1982 Monte Carlo. I just bought he quick ratio steering gear box and I would like to dress up my engine bay a little and since I'm doing braided line on everything else, might as well. If there is no kit what kinds of fittings would I need and hose size? Has anybody done this? Also any pics? Also, one last question did Montes come with a keyway style power steering pump?

Every 82 up GM car I've seen has always had the pressed on pulley. A google search says you can buy braided line sets but you may need to make the end crimps yourself.
Speedway Motors has a SS set with the flare fittings listed for 65" to 79' GM and another set for 80" up, for @ $120. I don't remember what year GM changed the fittings to the steeirng box (went to "O" ring) but I think those will work. The come with the flare fittings. Might check Summit and Jegs too. Most guys use Braided HP SS hose size AN-3, cut to length for your app and then buy the AN-3 adapters. The Metric banjo adapters etc are avail in SS also from Speedway.montessaj said:
